Cape San Blas v.2

So the fam and I headed off on another trip to the beach on Saturday morning.  We arrived in Cape San Blas late in the evening, unpacked things and then headed down to the beach.  We noticed a storm off to our North when arriving and just kept our eyes on it from time to time, as it was a nasty dark cloud of a storm.

We enjoyed walking in the water (which was extremely clear as it was last time), searching for shells and such.  This beach is wonderful for finding great shells.  The water was calm and somewhat warm (although not as warm as it was back in June).  Caroline found a cup and began putting shells in the cup.  She got knocked down a few times by the very small waves… got a little salt water in her mouth and realized ‘again’ that this water is not something we drink, as she began spitting it out.  Campbell and Staci walked a little faster and covered more ground, as Caroline and I kind of hung out.

The storm continued moving westward and began to take on a darker appearance and before we knew it, lightening began to occur.  Thunder rolled and rolled as if it never was going to stop.  It was quite amazing.  I decided to run back to the condo to grab the camera, so off I went (two trips to the condo as I forgot that Staci had the key).  Of course Staci took some awesome pictures and I am including a couple down below.  Check out the lightening.  It was truly amazing.  Hope everyone is doing well!
